Easy Nutty Microwave Fudge

This Nutty Microwave Fudge is so simple to make. I used peanuts to get a yummy Snickers like flavour but you could use whatever nuts you prefer!
Ingredients
  • 3 cups (525g) dark chocolate buttons
  • 1 can (400g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of roughly chopped nuts
Instructions
  1. Line the bottom and sides of an 8 inch (20 cm) square baking tin with non-stick baking paper, leaving some overhang at the sides.
  2. Place the dark chocolate buttons in a microwave safe container and add the sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Microwave the chocolate on high giving it bursts of 30 seconds and stirring in between each burst.
  4. Once the chocolate mixture is completely melted and smooth add the vanilla extract and stir well.
  5. Add the nuts and again stir well.
  6. Press the fudge into the prepared tin and spread evenly.
  7. If you like you can press a few extra nuts into the top of the fudge.
  8. Place the fudge in the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours or until firm. Use the overhanging baking paper to lift the fudge out of the tin and cut into squares.
  9. Leftover fudge can be stored in the refrigerator or placed in the freezer.
Notes
Makes 50 – 60 squares depending on how big you cut them.
