Today I’m sharing some of the cool links that I found during July. They are sure to inspire you to get baking and crafting! For this month’s Links I Love post I wanted to share a photo of one of the primulas growing in our back garden. I wanted to share it because we didn’t plant any primulas; some just came up by themselves! In fact it has been a few years since we have had any primulas growing in that part of the garden. We had some landscaping done in that area of the garden this time … [Read more...]
Links I Love from November
Welcome back to another Links I Love post where I share some of my favourite links from the previous month. Today I am looking back at some of the great posts that I saw during November. My featured photo this month is paying tribute to our vegetable garden which is roaring back to life now that we are officially into summer! The tomatoes that are pictured were from a volunteer tomato bush that popped up at the end of last summer. I managed to keep the plant alive over winter inside a cold … [Read more...]

It’s times like these where some type of mobile phone holder would really come in handy! The … [Read more...]
Easy Homemade Firelighters
We have our wood heater going almost constantly over winter, it is so nice to be able to curl up on the couch on a cold winter’s day and watch the fire! It’s also great to come home to a warm house in the winter. Even when the fire has died right down it still puts out enough heat to keep the house reasonably warm. As the weather starts to warm up though we are able to let the fire go out during the day more and more often. This means that we start to use more firelighters to get the fire … [Read more...]
