Description
This Nutty Microwave Fudge is so simple to make. I used peanuts to get a yummy Snickers like flavour but you could use whatever nuts you prefer!
Ingredients
- 3 cups (525g) dark chocolate buttons
- 1 can (400g) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of roughly chopped nuts
Instructions
- Line the bottom and sides of an 8 inch (20 cm) square baking tin with non-stick baking paper, leaving some overhang at the sides.
- Place the dark chocolate buttons in a microwave safe container and add the sweetened condensed milk.
- Microwave the chocolate on high giving it bursts of 30 seconds and stirring in between each burst.
- Once the chocolate mixture is completely melted and smooth add the vanilla extract and stir well.
- Add the nuts and again stir well.
- Press the fudge into the prepared tin and spread evenly.
- If you like you can press a few extra nuts into the top of the fudge.
- Place the fudge in the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours or until firm. Use the overhanging baking paper to lift the fudge out of the tin and cut into squares.
- Leftover fudge can be stored in the refrigerator or placed in the freezer.
Notes
Makes 50 – 60 squares depending on how big you cut them.
