Sewing on buttons is something that everyone should know how to do. Chances are at some stage a button on your favourite garment will pop off when you least expect it. Plus, often when the button pops off it is just when you need to wear the outfit and therefore you will need to repair it in a hurry. Taking the piece of clothing to a tailor just to have the button replaced would be very expensive!
