Links I Love from August

From mouth-watering recipes to DIY jewellery and other cool craft here are the Links I Love from August!

Well it’s that time again when I share some of the great links that I came across during the last month. Lately I have only been posting these every two months but I am now please to say that I am back on track and I will be sharing my favourite links every month. This post looks at the cool stuff that I saw online during August.

As I do with all of the Links I Love posts, I am presenting the links in two ways. Firstly I will provide a direct link to the original source so that you can go directly to the link straight away if you wish. I will also provide a Pinterest pin so that you can click the ‘Pin It’ button and pin it for later if you haven’t got time to look at it now.

I always start with food, and this post is no exception! The first link that I have to share is for these tasty looking Zucchini Cheddar Bites from Sarah over at Live Eat Learn. This is the first recipe that I plan to make with this year’s zucchini harvest – I can’t wait!

 

Another recipe I want to try is this Pizza Casserole that I saw at Tastes Better from Scratch. I love pasta bakes and I also LOVE pizza, so this recipe sounds like heaven!

 

I am a bit partial to some pumpkin in my cakes these days so this Pumpkin Crumb Cake I found on The View from Great Island also got my attention! Definitely going to try this one!

 

I also want to try these Peach Oatmeal Muffins from the girls over at Six Sisters’ Stuff. I love having a sweet muffin for breakfast and I think that these, with their peaches and oats, would be perfectly suited for breakfast!

 

I just have to include these Nutella & Jersey Caramel Brownies from Lucy at Bake Play Smile. Jersey Caramels are a favourite in our family, so I can’t wait to try adding some to a batch of brownies!

 

My final recipe link is for these super cute Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Tea Bag Cookies that I saw over at As Easy as Apple Pie. I don’t drink tea myself but I would happily eat some of these adorable cookies!

 

I love DIY jewellery so this next link from A Beautiful Mess definitely caught my eye last month. I love the look of these Marbled Clay Pendent Necklaces!

 

The same goes for these DIY Leather and Rings Bracelet from Ama over at Ohoh Blog. I love how something so simple looks so good!

 

I also love these Colorful Striped Coasters that I saw over at Delineate Your Dwelling. So quick and easy to make and perfect for a summer BBQ!

 

I’m a keen gardener so when I saw these lovely Hammered Flower Print Cards over at Garden Therapy I knew I had to share this link. What a great way to make a personalised card and preserve some colour from the garden!

 

Finally as a cat lover I wanted to share this link for some DIY Felt Craft Kittens from Lia Griffith. They are so cute; I think that they would make a great homemade gift for a cat lover!
