If you’re into baking, crafting, gardening, and DIY then you’re in the right place. Scroll down to see some of the awesome and inspirational links that I found during August!
Mother Nature can’t seem to make up her mind about whether it’s winter or spring at the moment. We get a couple of nice days and then we seem to bounce back to cold, wet and wintery days! Most days it looks like spring because all the trees are in blossom, but the wind is so icy cold! I don’t get much done in the garden at the moment because I keep retreating back inside to the warm!
It’s really cold outside again today so I’m glad that writing this gives me the excuse to stay inside by the fire!
Today I am sharing some of the great links that I saw during August. As usual I will share the direct link so that you can go straight and have a look. I am also sharing a Pinterest pin for each link so you can pin it for later if you prefer.
What better place to start than with an appetizer recipe! These Puff Pastry Twists from Sweet & Savory by Shinee look so good. This is my kind of recipe because they only require 3 ingredients!
I also wouldn’t mind munching on some of this Zucchini Cheddar Cheese Herb Beer Bread that I saw at Serena Bakes Simply from Scratch. Can’t wait for zucchini season to arrive so that I can try out this recipe!
I think I’ll also be trying out this recipe for Caramel Toffee Pudding Cookies from Nikki over at Chef in Training very soon. They look so yummy!
Speaking of yummy, these Easy Apple Cheesecake Bars that I saw at OMG Chocolate Desserts had me drooling last month! These wouldn’t last long if I was around!
My final recipe link is for this No-Bake Mars Bar Cheesecake from Lucy over at Bake Play Smile. I’m a big Mars Bar fan so I would love a big slice of this cheesecake for dessert!
I love craft ideas that are easy so this Paper Chain Wall Hanging from The House that Lars Built caught my eye. Such a simple idea but it’s a great way to get some unique wall art!
How cute is this Knit Cat Bed that I saw at A Beautiful Mess! Our two cats would love to curl up in one of these beds!
Something else that is cute is this tutorial for How to Make Rubber Boot Dogs from Melissa at Empress of Dirt. At least these dogs wouldn’t dig up any of your plants!
Another garden idea that got my attention during August was this DIY Ring Toss Game from Mike at The Crafty Gentleman. What a great idea for some fun for the kids (and the grownups) at a summer BBQ!
Finally with summer just around the corner, and lots of outdoor activity on the cards, I thought I should share this tutorial for Easy to Make Mosquito Repellent Bracelets from The Renegade Seamstress.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of the great links that I found during August. If you want to see some more why not head over to my Pinterest page and have a look.
