There are so many great ideas that people share online. Here are some of the great links that I found during June that should motivate you to get baking and crafting!
There aren’t many plants flowering in our garden at the moment. However, one container plant that looks gorgeous at this time of year is the Zygocactus (Schlumbergera). This plant is often referred to as the Christmas cactus because it blooms around Christmas time in the northern hemisphere.
If, like me, you live in the southern hemisphere the zygocactus provides much needed winter colour. Ours began flowering in early June and looks like it will keep going for a few weeks yet! The plant that is pictured above is growing in a hanging basket on our back veranda. It looks so pretty with the late afternoon sun shining on it.
Now on to the links that I want to share from June! As usual I will share the direct link so you can hop on over and have a look. I will also share a Pinterest Pin so that you can pin it for later if you don’t have time to look at it now!
The first link I want to share is for this delicious looking Shepherd’s Pie from Recipe Tin Eats. There is nothing better on a cold winter’s day than Shepherd’s Pie!
A salad is probably the polar opposite of Shepherd’s Pie but I still want to share this Caesar Salad Recipe from Good Cheap Eats. My all-time favourite salad is a Caesar salad so when I saw a quick and easy version I had to share!
I have never had nectarine in a cake so I wanted to share this Nectarine and Walnut Coffee Cake that I saw over at Baking Bites. This is a recipe that I’ll have to try in the springtime!
And what about these Lemon Curd Cupcakes from The Itsy-Bitsy Kitchen! Sweet lemon recipes are definitely a weakness for me!
The last recipe link from June is for these Melt in Your Mouth Cheesecake Cookies from Chef in Training. A cookie that tastes like cheesecake – what more could you want!
Even though I’m not in America I enjoyed seeing all the 4th of July crafts last month. I really liked these Fireworks Wine Glasses that I saw over at The Decorated Cookie. I could imagine doing this for New Year’s Eve!
Something else that caught my eye during dune was this tutorial for DIY Boho Style Earrings from Pretty Handy Girl. I love how easy these are to make!
The final link that I want to share from June is for these DIY Marbled Bookmarks that I saw over at Delineate Your Dwelling. I’m a fan of the marble look so I think they’re very cute!
Well that’s it for now; I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of the great links that I found during June. You can see those links and many more on my Pinterest page so why not head over for a look!
