Welcome back to my monthly Links I Love posts, where I share some of the great stuff that I have found online during the previous month. Now that we are into September it is time to look back at the great links that I found during August 2014!
As I have said before I love searching online and reading other blogs. Each month I am amazed at the number of great recipes, craft, DIY, and gardening ideas that are shared online. I love cooking so I find that it is not hard to lose a few hours out of the day pouring over the hundreds of tasty looking recipes from the many food blogs I follow.
Some of the other blogs that I really enjoy reading are the DIY and craft ones. I enjoy having a go at craft and DIY projects so I love seeing the cool ideas that other bloggers have come up with. The biggest problem is finding the time to try out all these great projects!
As usual I am presenting these great links in two ways. Firstly I will provide the direct link to the original source, but I will also provide a Pinterest pin as well. So you have the choice of either clicking on the direct link to read it straight away or if you want to you can click on the ‘Pin It’ button and pin it for later.
The first great link on my list is a recipe for some very tasty looking Caesar Salad Burgers that I found at Six Sisters’ Stuff. Caesar salad would have to be my favourite salad so I love the idea of a Caesar salad burger. This will be a great recipe to try out during spring and summer.
One of the reasons I love Caesar salad is probably because it includes one of my favourite cheeses – parmesan! That is why I had to share these Chicken Parmesan Sub Skewers from The Cookie Rookie; they include parmesan and mozzarella cheese so they look doubly yummy!
Another great summer BBQ idea that I plan on trying out this summer is these Bacon Wrapped Sausages from Make Life Lovely. I can’t believe that I haven’t seen this done before now – can’t wait to try it!
This Apple Snack Cake from Cathy at Lemon Tree Dwelling also got my mouth watering during August. I love that this recipe is quick and easy to make and is suitable for breakfast, snacking, or dessert!
Another recipe that I would like to try over the coming warmer months is this No-Churn Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from Liz at Love Grows Wild. I don’t think that I have ever seen an easier ice cream recipe!
I also saw some great craft ideas last month like these Do it Yourself Locker Frame & Magnets from Angela at Handmade in the Heartland. I particularly loved the idea of making small photo magnets out of glass pebbles. They would look cool on any fridge!
Still on magnets I wanted to share this How to Make Custom DIY Magnetic Tins tutorial I found at Tatertots and Jello. What a really great way to make storing some pretty ordinary things look beautiful!
The final link that I wanted to share is for these cute Wooden Bookmarks that I found at Poppy Haus. These thin wooden bookmarks are really easy to make but look really cool – no more dog eared paper bookmarks!
Well there you have it, some of the great links that I saw during August 2014! If you want to see more great links why not check out my Pinterest page!
