Links I Love from February

Now that February is behind us we are officially into autumn! Temperature wise it is still quite hot but there is a chill in the air at night that wasn’t there a month ago. It will be sad to say good bye to summer but I am looking forward to some cooler weather.

The main reason for that is because it will mean the end of our snake season. We worry every year about our cats being bitten by snakes and this year Wally was! It was touch and go for a while but thankfully he is pretty much fully recovered now.  Now our cats just have to put up with being kept inside a bit more! I will be so glad when it does turn cold this year!

Anyway on to the links that I saw during February! As usual I am sharing the direct link as well as a Pinterest pin. So you can head straight over to check them out now or you can pin them for later!

My first link is for this Chinese Satay Chicken Stir Fry from Nagi over at Recipe Tin Eats. Satay chicken is one of my favourite dishes so I’m looking forward to trying this recipe out!

 

I also wanted to share this Chicken Fajita Pasta Casserole that I saw over at Chef in Training. Hopefully I might be able to pick some of my own peppers to use in this dish!

 

These Parmesan Palmiers from Baking Bites also caught my attention during February. I have made cinnamon palmiers before but never Parmesan Palmiers!

 

I also want to try out this Omelette in a Mug recipe that I saw over at Simply Recipes. This would come in very handy when I need a quick lunch idea!

 

This recipe for Lemon Crumble Breakfast Cake from Saving Room for Dessert had me drooling last month. I would looove to have this for my breakfast!

 

And how good do these Cinnamon Sugar Cake Doughnuts from Kathy over at Beyond the Chicken Coop look! I wouldn’t say no to some of these for breakfast either! 😉

 

I’m definitely going to try making some of these Salted Chocolate and Caramel Pretzel Bars that I saw at Tastes Better from Scratch. The recipe only has 4 ingredients and they look divine!

 

Before the weather cools off too much I need to try this Raspberry Passion Fruit Kiss cocktail recipe from Simply Darrling. It looks delicious and again it only has 4 ingredients!

 

I also wanted to share this link for a Braided Clay DIY Keychain tutorial that I saw over at Delineate your Dwelling. I love the braided clay effect!

 

This String Art Table from Mark Montano also caught my eye last month. I don’t know if I would have the patience to make it myself but it sure looks cool!

 

And what about this DIY Plywood Phone Stand that I saw over at OhOh Blog! I need to make one of these so I can stand my phone up while it’s charging!

 

Another wood craft that got my attention during February was this tutorial for making Popsicle Stick Bracelets from Homan at Home. This reminds me of another wood craft called steam bending that I recently learnt about.

 

Finally how cute is this Free Printable Wrapping Paper from Kittenhood! It is supposed to be for Valentine’s Day but I think that a cat lover would appreciate it at any time of year!
