Well I am cutting it fine but I will just make it with my favourite links from last month. This post contains links to some of the great blog posts or websites that I have come across from February 2014.
This post is later in the month than I had planned, mainly due to the fact that I suffered from a nasty sinus infection earlier in the month. I was out of action for a few days while I worked on my DIY sinus infection treatment. While it did hold me up a bit, I was really please that I was able to clear up the infection without resorting to antibiotics.
Like last month I have included both the direct link to the source as well as a Pinterest pin. So if you like you can head directly to the source and get more information or if you prefer you can pin it for later. This month’s links I love once again feature yummy looking recipes – you can tell I love my food can’t you 😉
The first link that really caught my eye was these cute little Butterfly Cupcakes from Butter with a Side of Bread. They had to be included in this month’s Links I Love because I just loved butterfly cupcakes when I was a little girl! My mum used to use jelly to decorate the middle – yum!
Two of my favourite foods would have to be sugar cookies and cheesecake – which made the next link a no brainer. I have yet to try out this Sugar Cookie Cheesecake recipe from Amy at Oh Bite It, but if it tastes half as good as it looks I will be happy! However if you just want sugar cookies check out this easy recipe that I shared before Christmas.
Another food combination that sounds delicious would have to include these Brownie Batter Cookies from The Girl Who Ate Everything. I just love a cookie that has a soft, slightly gooey, centre!
Speaking of cookies, I was also very taken with the look of these Lemon Strawberry Butter Cookies that I found at Num’s the Word. (now moved to Delectabilities). They are similar to a thumb print cookie only Jodie made her “print” in the shape of a heart for Valentine’s Day!
I am also always looking for great ideas that I can use in the garden. Like this idea for Umbrella Greenhouses from Stephanie at Garden Therapy. This would be a great way to protect early spring seedlings as they are getting started. I will have to think about getting one of these for our garden!
Finally I wanted to share a really neat garden ornament. These Cool Can Chimes found at Parents.com look really great and they are made from recycled cans! This is such a cool idea because you can decorate them quite simply. Or with some imagination you could really jazz them up!
That’s all that I have time to add this month, I hope these links give you some inspiration!
