If you’re looking for some baking, craft, DIY or gardening inspiration then you need to check out these awesome links that I saw during September!
The Links I Love feature photo this month is a bit misleading. It was taken on one of the very rare sunny days that we had last month. In actual fact September was very wet here! I will admit, we did have a few days that were sunny and spring like, but most of the time it was either raining or very dull and grey!
When the weather was nice I spent as much time outside as I could weeding and tidying the garden! I can’t wait for the weather to warm up!
Today I am looking back at some of the great online stuff that I saw during September. As always, I will share a Pinterest pin as well as the direct link. So you can please yourself whether you visit the link straight away or just pin it for later!
The first link that I want to share is for this Easy Skillet Dijon Chicken from Culinary Ginger. I am quite a fan of recipes with chicken and mustard so I can see this dish in my future!
I would also like to try this Pesto Parmesan Chicken that I saw over at The Crafting Chicks. I think this would be wonderful with some homemade pesto!
I am a big fan of Chinese style meals so this Big Batch Chinese Beef from Kitchen Sanctuary got my attention. I would love to make this up and then freeze some for later.
I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I just had to share this 4 Ingredient Sweetened Condensed Milk Cake from The Hungry Mum. This recipe sounds so easy I just have to try it!
And what about these Salted Rolo Brownies that I saw at Brown Eyed Baker! I don’t think that these would last long at my house!
Plus I wouldn’t say no to some of these Cookies and Cream Puff Pastry Doughnuts from Jessica at How Sweet It Is! I love the idea of making doughnuts from puff pastry!
To prove I don’t just look at food I wanted to share some other links. Like this post I saw over at The Nailasaurus showing how to Apply Glitter Nail Polish Evenly Every Time. With the weather warming up I’ll be able to get my glittery polish out again!
I like easy DIY jewellery so I had to share these DIY Shoulder Duster Earrings that I saw at Brit and Co. This link shows you how to make two beautiful sets of earrings!
Anyone with cats will love this next link. This tutorial from Instructables shows you how to make a DIY Cardboard Cat Scratching Pad from an old Produce Box. Maddy loves her cardboard scratching pad so I might have to make one of these!
This next link caught my eye because I have been thinking about planting some marigolds in the garden this spring. They are supposed to be good at deterring pests. This link from Gardening Know How gives you lots of information about how to use Marigolds as Companion Plants.
Finally I wanted to share this handy link from Amy at Get Busy Gardening that gives some tips for Harvesting and Storing Basil Leaves. I am looking forward to growing some more basil this summer so these tips will come in handy!
Well that is all the links that I have for now. I hope that you have enjoyed seeing the great links that I saw during September. If you want to see more great links why not check out my Pinterest Page!
