Well we are into October and there is no better time than now to have a look back at some of the cool stuff that I found online during September 2014. I love writing these Links I Love posts because it gives me a good excuse to have a good look around online each month to see what great stuff I can find to share!
Usually I end up spending quite a bit of time drooling over decadent snacks and dessert recipes that I wish I could make – but can’t because they have too many calories 🙁 I might have to take up running or something!
When I am not looking at food blogs and websites I am checking out the many awesome craft projects that people share online each month. It always amazes me how people even come up with some of the projects! I’m not as crafty as I would like to be but it doesn’t matter because I find you can get so many tips, hints, and ideas online these days.
As usual I will provide the direct link to the original source and I will also provide a Pinterest pin as well. That way you can choose to click on the direct link to read it straight away or if you want to you can click on the ‘Pin It’ button and pin it for later. So here are some of my favourite links from September 2014!
The first link is a really easy recipe for summer BBQ chicken that got my mouth watering. This 3-Ingredient Italian BBQ Chicken from Steph at Plain Chicken looks so yummy – I will definitely be trying this one out!
This chocolate mud cake I saw at Bake Play Smile also got my attention last month. It sounds quite easy to make and you can make it in a regular mixer or a Thermomix.
Speaking of chocolate this Chocolate Pumpkin Bread recipe that I saw at A Beautiful Mess looked so good. The marbled effect with the pumpkin and chocolate looks really nice.
I also had to share these Glazed Apple-Oat Cookies from Crumbs and Chaos. These soft, cake-like cookies with a cinnamon glaze look absolutely delicious!
Another handy link that I found last month was a post on One Good Thing by Jillee showing How To Make Your Own Shapeable Ice Pack For Pennies. These ice packs are great for sprains and strains and being able to make your own would be so useful.
I loved these Sparkly DIY Cake Toppers For Weddings Or Birthdays that I saw at Lia Griffith. I enjoy making and decorating birthday cakes and I would love to make some of these cake toppers.
These DIY Twist & Knot Wire Rings from Fall for DIY are so simple but look so cute. With all the different coloured craft wire you can buy these days, you could make one of these to match every outfit!
Finally I wanted to share these DIY Dried Flower Coasters from Rachel at The Crafted Life. We have so many beautiful flowers in our garden – it would be great to preserve and display them on coasters.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these great links from September 2014! Feel free to check out my Pinterest page if you want to see more great links!
