When the warmer weather of spring and summer arrives I, like most people, like to spend more time outside. Doing things like gardening, as well as enjoying picnics and BBQs. While being out and about in the fresh air is wonderful the one downside of the warmer weather is the arrival of biting insects such as mosquitos.
Even though I try to use insect repellent wherever possible, the little blighters still seem to give me a few bites and for me the bites can remain itchy for 2 to 3 days.
I was doing some work in the garden recently and managed to get a few bites around my ankles. Within a few hours the bites were itching like mad. So, I decided to get online and see what remedies were available.
I generally tried to find information and remedies that used natural or readily available products so that I could try them out straight away!
This post includes three videos with remedies that are simple and use ingredients that most people would have easy access to. I have also included some links to websites that give some more suggestions for how to relieve mosquito bites.
