My family loves a good hamburger but we have found that the supermarket ones aren’t always that tasty and you just can’t eat the fast food ones all the time! Homemade hamburgers can be just as good and if you have a great recipe they can be tasty as well as being better for you than the bought ones!
I have devised my own recipe for beef hamburgers that are flavoured with ingredients that I always have on hand in my pantry. When I want to make these burgers I only have to buy some minced beef and I know that I will have everything else I need at home.
These burgers are great in a hamburger bun with cheese and salad or they can also be nice without the bun and accompanied by salad or vegetables.
Ingredients:
500g Lean Minced Beef
1 Pinch Salt
2 Teaspoons Beef Stock Powder
1 Teaspoon Garlic and Herb Seasoning
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Tomato Sauce
1 Tablespoon BBQ Sauce
1 Brown Onion – Diced Finely
1 Clove of Garlic – Diced Finely
1 Carrot – Grated
1 Whole Egg
3 Tablespoons Breadcrumbs
Method:
Combine all ingredients together in a bowl and then shape into individual hamburger patties.
This recipe makes 8 generously sized burgers.

Hamburgers are usually a feature of fast food restaurants. The hamburgers served in major fast food establishments are usually mass-produced in factories and frozen for delivery to the site. These hamburgers are thin and of uniform thickness, differing from the traditional American hamburger prepared in homes and conventional restaurants, which is thicker and prepared by hand from ground beef. ,
