Links I Love from October 2015

Last updated on: November 17, 2015 By Kaylene Filed Under: Links I Love Leave a Comment

Links I Love from October 2015Welcome once again to the latest instalment of my regular series of posts sharing the Links I Love. The only rule for these posts is that the links that I share must be published in the previous month. So in this edition of the Links I Love series I will cover my favourite finds from October 2015.

I love exploring other blogs to see what people are doing. Whether it is recipes, craft, or gardening I never fail to find something that tickles my fancy!

As usual I will share the links as Pinterest pins so that you can pin it for later if you want to. I will also provide the direct link so that you can go straight to the source if you would prefer! So let’s get started!

If any of you are salt and vinegar chips lovers you will know why I have included these Roast Beef and Turkey Cream Cheese Sandwiches from Neighbor Food! I love the idea of putting some salt and vinegar chips in a sandwich!

I can’t wait for my zucchini plants to start producing so that I can make some of these Greek Zucchini Tots that I saw over at Recipe Tin Eats. We usually get snowed under with zucchinis over summer so any new ideas for cooking them are appreciated!

Another recipe that I haven’t tried yet but definitely plan to is this Butternut, Potato and Onion Crustless Quiche from Maureen over at Orgasmic Chef. I love easy but delicious recipes like this one!

There is only one thing better than scrolling through savoury recipes and that is scrolling through sweet recipes! So the next couple of links are dedicated to all those sweet tooths out there!

I like cinnamon rolls and I like pull-apart bread so it was a no brainer that I include this recipe for Cinnamon Roll Pull-Apart Bread from The Kitchen Adventurer. Wow it looks so good!

I also love how pretty these Funfetti Sugar Cookie Bars look that I saw over at Inside Bru Crew Life. I love a good sugar cookie so I will be trying out these bars for sure!

I’m a bit partial to a sweet treat at breakfast time so this Caramel Apple Breakfast Crumb Cake from Nikki over at Chef in Training caught my eye. I wouldn’t say no to some of this for breakfast!

Moving away from recipes, I thought I should share this tutorial from Oh Happy Day showing how to make a really cute Mini Ferris Wheel. Kids would love this at a party!

I haven’t got into the adult colouring craze yet but I wanted to share this link from Garden Therapy for a printable Free Adult Coloring Page. I do like the idea of colouring in a nice garden scene!

Another cool idea that I saw over at Redo it Yourself Inspiration last month is this tutorial for How to Peel Wine Corks and Flatten Them. I love this idea and I also love how they used the flattened corks!

What about this DIY Loom Tutorial that I saw over at Lauren Likes. I love that Lauren shared this tutorial; I would never have known where to start if I wanted to make a loom!

Another thing that I love to look at online is nail art. I have only dabbled in nail art so far but I want to have a go at trying some more one of these days. That’s why I had to include these lovely Wrought Iron Scrolls with Chine Glaze nails that I saw at Chalkboard Nails.

Finally I wanted to share this link that I saw over at One Good Thing by Jillee for a DIY Floral Candle. I love to make some of my own gifts so I was really taken with this homemade floral candle and I have to agree that it is a wonderful gift idea!

Well that’s it for this month’s Links I Love post! I hope that you have enjoyed seeing some of my favourite links from October, if you want to see more great links check out my Pinterest Page!
