Free Printable Freezer Labels

Last updated on: August 21, 2025 By Kaylene Filed Under: Kitchen Hints 2 Comments

Pile of blue and white freezer labels.

Make the most of your frozen items by ensuring that everything is labelled correctly using these attractive free printable freezer labels.

Ever since I bought some adhesive paper to make labels for preserves a couple of months ago I have been wondering how else I can use it. I have been thinking that it will be great for making personalised decorations when my niece and nephew have their birthdays later this year. In the meantime though, I have decided to use it to make some freezer labels!

We used to just write on a blank white sticker when we wanted to put a label on something for the freezer. But quite often the stickers would fall off and then we didn’t know when the item was put in the freezer – very annoying!

Now that I have my sheets of adhesive paper I thought that I could definitely do better than that!

Printed sheet of freezer labels ready to be cut up into individual labels.

How to Get Some Freezer Labels

I have made up a sheet of freezer labels that can be printed out onto adhesive paper. There are 15 labels per sheet and once printed all you need to do is cut the labels out and then you are ready to go!

To download a copy of the labels, click HERE.

They are wonderful for using on plastic freezer storage containers because they peel right off when you want to wash your container. I also find that they have no problem staying stuck in the cold. Often the labels that we used in the past would fall off once they got too cold. I won’t have to worry about missing labels with these new ones!

I bought my adhesive paper at Officeworks but I am sure that you could probably get it at any good stationary store.

What other things should I use my adhesive paper for?

Plastic container containing frozen muffins. A label on the container identifies them as raspberry and coconut muffins.

I have also found some other free printable freezer labels online.
