The end of April and start of May have finally bought good rain – hooray! You could just about hear our garden breathing a huge sigh of relief last Friday when the first rain started. It has been very dry for such a long time!
The rains have meant that the temperature has dropped quite a bit too. We haven’t had any frosts yet but it is cool enough that we are keeping the fire stoked up. I love the warmer weather but there is something so comforting about curling up in front of a warm fire! In fact I am enjoying the warmth of the fire while I write this post!
This month I am sharing my favourite links from April. As I do each month, I will provide the direct link to the source as well as a Pinterest pin. That way you can visit the source straight away if you like or you can pin it for later.
My first link is this Easy Puff Pastry Ham and Cheese Quiche from Ashley at The Recipe Rebel. I love that this quiche sounds very easy to put together and I always have some puff pastry in the freezer!
I’m also keen to have a go at this No-Knead Orange Rosemary Focaccia from Beth Dunham. It’s a long time since I last made focaccia so I’ll have to try this one because it looks very easy!
I have been drooling over these Vegan Double Chocolate Hazelnut Blender Muffins that I saw over at Eat Within Your Means. I’m not a vegan but they look so moist and delicious and I love recipes where you can mix everything up without having to dirty a heap of bowls!
I really wish that I hadn’t seen this Easy Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce recipe over at Brown Eyed Baker! This looks too easy to make and I do like ice cream with hot fudge sauce! 😉
I also love these Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies from Caroline at Chocolate and Carrots. These look addictive with their gooey Nutella filling!
I just had to share this Daisy Chain Pie Crust Tutorial that I saw over at Handmade Charlotte. This looks gorgeous and seems so easy to do, I don’t make that many pies but I think I will be tempted to try this the next time I do!
These DIY Personalized Cutting Boards that I saw over at Simply Darrling also caught my eye. I love this look and that you can personalize the design.
And what about this DIY Magnet Board from Whisking Mama. What a great idea for putting a magnetic notice board in a playroom or other chosen spot rather than just sticking things to the fridge!
If you’ve read these posts before you will know that I love my homemade jewellery! So I was always going to share this gorgeous DIY Braided Clay Bracelet from Delineate Your Dwelling!
Speaking of bracelets I also took a fancy to this Three Minute DIY Leather Bracelet that I saw over at Happy Hour Projects. This looks like a super easy project that I could try!
Finally I wanted to share this link for a DIY Sliced Cake Wall Clock from Carrie at Dream Green DIY. I think it looks really cute and it would be a great gift for a friend or family member who is into baking!
Well that’s all the links that I have to share from April. I hope that you have enjoyed seeing them as much as I did! To see more great links head over and have a look at my Pinterest page.
