Links I Love (February and March)

Last updated on: June 10, 2015 By Kaylene Filed Under: Links I Love 2 Comments

My favourite links from January 2015Wow hasn’t the first few months of the year just flown? It is hard to believe that we are in the middle of autumn already! Despite being well into autumn the days have been almost spring like lately so we have enjoyed getting out and about in the sunshine while we can. Mind you the garden is so dry that I would much prefer that it was cold and raining. We haven’t had a decent rain since January!

Something else that hasn’t happened lately around here is me sharing my favourite links from my recent online reading. Well I thought that I had better rectify the problem by sharing my favourite links from February and March. If you are into cooking, craft, or DIY you will definitely love these links. They always inspire me to get baking or tackle some craft so I hope that they provided you with some ideas and inspiration too!

As per usual I will share the direct link so that you can go straight to the source if you wish. I am also including a Pinterest pin so you can see what I am talking about and also ‘pin it’ for later if you wish. I’ll start with some recipes because they are my biggest weakness – I could look at food blogs all day if you let me!

First up is this Sourdough Bread Baked in a Pot from Maureen at Orgasmic Chef. I have always wanted to try baking sourdough; I must give it a try one day soon!

What about this Crock-Pot Honey Mustard Chicken that a saw at Lauren’s Latest. I must try this recipe too, it looks super easy and I love honey mustard chicken!

I also had to share this Sausage Onion Flatbread Pizza from Renee at Magnolia Days. It’s been a while since I’ve had a flatbread pizza and this has reminded me how good they can be!

If you are anything like me you probably love a good one-bowl recipe because they are usually quick and easy. Well how about a NO-BOWL recipe? Yes this recipe for Chocolate Coconut Cookie Bars from Mindie at Born Again Farm Girl is prepared right in the baking tin – cool!

Or what about this Triple M Slice that I saw at Zamamabakes – it combines Maltesers, M&M’s, and white chocolate so it is a chocolate lover’s slice for sure!

If you really want to get your mouth watering you need to check out these Nutella Stuffed Doughnuts over at The Crafting Foodie. Anything that is stuffed with Nutella is worth a look – right?

Well I hope you’ve had enough drooling over yummy stuff because now I want to talk craft! Like this DIY Wooden Jewellery Box that I saw over at Craft Hunter – what a wonderful way to up-cycle some ordinary document drawers!

Speaking of up-cycling, what about this cool Upcycled Paint Can Ice Bucket from Cori at Hey, Let’s Make Stuff! Such a great way to reuse something that would otherwise end up in landfill!

This Tip Out Hidden Sink Drawer that I saw over at Our Peaceful Planet looks like a good idea. What a great place to store small dish sponges and brushes when you are not using them!

I love the idea of making unique coasters so I had to include these DIY Nail Polish Marbled Coasters from Inspired by This. They’re easy to make and very cute!

How about making your own hand wash? I would love to try making some of this DIY Frugal and Natural Foaming Hand Wash that I saw over at Little Eco Footprints.

I saw lots of Easter related links during March but I will just include a couple here. Firstly how about these very cute DIY Foliage Easter Eggs from Liz at Say Yes –they look gorgeous don’t you think?

Finally I wanted to share a link to this great tip for How to Dye Easter Eggs Mess Free that I saw over at Mrs Happy Homemaker. What a clever idea!

Well that’s all I have for now, if you want to see more great links why not check out my Pinterest Page!
