Happy New Year and welcome to back to my latest Links I Love post where I will be looking back at some of my favourite links from December! I hope that you all enjoyed the festive season and are having a great start to 2016.
We had a hot Christmas Day so lots of salads, chilled desserts, and ice cold drinks were on the menu. It was also a warm end to December with New Year’s Eve being 39 °C (102 °F)!
As I post this today we are heading to a top of 42 °C (108 °F) which is really giving the garden a hard time. We have our fingers crossed for some rain at the end of the week!
But enough about the weather, time to have a look at some great links from December! As usual I am providing a photo via an embedded Pinterest pin. That way you can click the “Pin It” button to repin it to one of your Pinterest boards. I am also including the direct link so that you can go straight to the source and check it out yourself if you wish.
Let’s start with these delicious looking Minced Meat Stuffed Zucchini Boats that I saw at Oh My Dish. We have an oversupply of zucchinis at the moment so I’ll be trying this recipe out for sure!
Another recipe that I really want to try is this One Pan Baked Sausage and Vegetable with Gravy recipe from Nagi at Recipe Tin Eats. I love having sausages with veggies and gravy so I will try this one evening when the weather is a little bit cooler!
These Seven Layer Bars that I saw over at Brown Eyed Baker also got my attention. I love that this recipe is so quick and easy!
These Cherry Cheesecake Cookies from Jamie at My Baking Addition look wonderful. I love the idea of a bit sized cheesecake treats!
I just had to share this link for No-Churn Passionfruit Raspberry Pavlova Ice Cream that I saw at The Brick Kitchen. I really want to have a go at making some no-churn ice cream this summer and this one looks delicious!
I can’t share links from December without including some Christmas ones! I really liked this DIY Christmas Card Chandelier from One Good Thing by Jillee. Such a cute way to display your Christmas Cards!
And what about this Cheers! Light Box Marquee DIY from A Beautiful Mess. Not only would this be great at Christmas time it would also be great at a party or other special occasion!
I thought these DIY Birdseed Ornaments that I saw over at Curious and Catcat were a great idea. Not only would they provide some outside Christmas decoration but they might also lure the birds away from our fruit trees!
I loved this Glitter Striped Gift Wrapping Paper Tutorial from Nikki at Tikkido. What a great way to personalise a Christmas, Birthday, or Wedding present!
Finally I just had to share this link I saw on Instructables for these DIY Wire Cat Earrings! I am both a cat lover and a lover of DIY jewellery so I thought these were very cute!
That’s it for this month’s Links I Love post; I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of my favourite links from December. If you would like to see more great links head over to my Pinterest page!
