Links I love from March

Last updated on: October 15, 2019 By Kaylene Filed Under: Links I Love Leave a Comment

Marigolds and silverbeet that was growing in my garden during March. Text overlay says: Links I Love.Whether you’re into craft, baking, or gardening (or perhaps your into all three) you’ll want to check out these great links from March!

For this month’s Links I Love I just had to share a photo of the marigolds in my vegetable garden! Originally I bought them to help deter bugs in the veggie garden. But now I love them because they are so pretty. Most of the vegetables are dying back because of the cold but the marigolds are still going strong!

Actually I think that I planted them a bit too late because they only really got going once we got into March. Over the last few weeks they have put on a beautiful display despite the fact that the weather is cooling off now.

I planted them in several spots around the vegetable garden so now there are pretty orange flowers wherever we look. It’s a shame that we’re the only ones that can enjoy them. Next year I might plant some at the front of the house as well because they’re providing such a wonderful splash of autumn colour!

Something else that I enjoyed during March are the links that I am about to share! As I always do I will share the direct link as well as a Pinterest pin. So you can head over and check the out the link straight away or pin it for later.

The first link that I am sharing is for these mouth-watering Muffin Tin Pizza Bombs that I saw at The Kitchn. I love pizza type snacks and appetizers so I can’t wait to try this recipe!

Another recipe I would love to try is this Instant Pot Chicken Fried Rice from Megan over at 3 Scoops of Sugar. I don’t have an Instant Pot but I do have a pressure cooker. It looks so good – I’m sure I could adapt the recipe!

Cinnamon rolls usually get me drooling and these Sunday Morning Cinnamon Rolls that I saw over at Cinnamon & Flour were no exception!  Can’t wait to make some of these!

These Lemon Poppy Seed Waffles from Modern Farmhouse Eats caught my eye last month! Mainly because I’ve only recently acquired a waffle iron – plus I love lemon recipes!

Another lemon recipe that got my attention during March was this Strawberry Lemonade Lasagna from OMG Chocolate Desserts. This is meant to be a warmer weather dessert but I’m sure I could eat this at any time of year! 😉

My final recipe link for March is this Easy Easter Fudge that I saw over at Cake Mistress. I love that this recipe only needs 3 ingredients for the fudge. Then you just top it with Easter candy – so easy!

Another link I want to share from March is this Cool Colorful Spring Tree that I saw at The Studio. It’s not spring where I live but I still love the look of this gorgeous tree!

I also love the look of this Recycled Denim Rug that I saw over at A Beautiful Mess. What a great way to use up any old denim jeans/jackets rather than just throwing them away!

Speaking of great ideas, I love this Easy DIY Trinket Dish from Average But Inspired. I love that you can get this look from using a paper napkin! Yes that’s right a paper napkin is the key to this cute look – go and check it out!

Now for something to put in that lovely trinket dish! How about this sweet DIY Shrink Plastic Flower Earrings from Persia Lou. I love how bright and cheery these look!

The final link from last month that I want to share is these great tips for Keeping Rabbits out of the Garden and Flowerbeds that I saw over at Old World Garden Farms. We had rabbits chewing our plants this summer so I’m keen to try out some of their tips!

Well that’s all the links that I have for this month. I hope you have enjoyed seeing these and that they come in handy. For more great baking, crafting, and gardening links head over to my Pinterest Page for a look!
