Links I Love from September

Last updated on: October 25, 2015 By Kaylene Filed Under: Links I Love Leave a Comment

Links I Love from September 2015If you need some inspiration to get creative check out some of the cool links that I found during September. Whether you love food, craft, or gardening there are some great links that you just have to see!

Now that the weather has warmed up there is plenty to do in the garden and I am really enjoying it. Actually even when I have other things that I should be doing I find it hard to resist heading outside to do some weeding or planting in the fresh air!

Even though I have been busy in the garden lately I still want to share some of the great links that I saw last month. As per usual with these Links I Love posts I will be presenting the links in two ways. Firstly I will provide a direct link to the original source so that you can go to it straight away and have a look. Also I will provide a Pinterest pin. Providing the pin means that you can see what I am talking about and it also enables you to click the ‘Pin It’ button if you want to pin it now and have a look at it later.

I’ll start with this recipe from Nagi at Recipe Tin Eats for Oven Baked Tandoori Chicken. It looks delicious and you have got to love a recipe for Tandoori Chicken that is baked in the oven and is made without any specialty ingredients!

Another recipe that had me drooling was this Lemon Zucchini Cake that I saw over at My Baking Addiction. We always have lemons in the house and I have just planted some zucchini so I’ll be giving this recipe a try over summer!

Oh and how delicious does this Caramel Apple Slab Pie from Alyssa at The Recipe Critic look!  I love apple desserts so this link definitely got my attention!

These Raspberry Cheesecake Brownies that I saw at A Latte Food also grabbed my attention last month. I haven’t tried a cheesecake brownie before – I think that I will have to rectify that!

I also saw this recipe for Iced VoVo Biscuits over at Hotly Spiced and wanted to share it. I grew up eating Iced VoVos so this recipe really brought back memories!

When I read this recipe for Caramel Almond Squares at The Hungry Mum I instantly wanted to try it. I made this up last month and loved it. It has a melt in your mouth biscuity base and a yummy caramel almond top.

Despite how it looks, I do spend time checking out links that are not food related! Like this tutorial on How to Make a Spiral Chain Bracelet that I saw over at A Dish Of Daily Life. I love this look and think that it would make a wonderful handmade gift!

I also love the look of this cool DIY Rug made with old denims by Ama at Ohoh Blog. What an original and cool way to recycle your old pairs of jeans!

While we are looking at ways to re-purpose denim, have a look at this link from Urban Organic Gardener that shows How to Re-purpose those old jeans into a gardening apron – how clever!

When I saw this link over at Gardening Know How showing Tips For Planting Grapevines In Pots I was very interested. I would love to grow some grapes but I don’t really have a suitable place to plant a grape vine, maybe a container would be an option!

I have also been thinking about growing some asparagus lately so this link from Vegetable Gardener giving tips on how to Plant an Asparagus Patch was very timely. I’ll have to keep this link handy until autumn because that’s the best time to plant asparagus.

Well that’s it! I hope that you have enjoyed seeing my favourite links from September, if you want to see more great links check out my Pinterest Page!
