I can’t believe that we are into the second half of February already – it will only be a couple of weeks now and autumn will be here! It is still pretty warm though; February tends to be one of the hottest months of summer. I’m not going to complain about the heat though because warm weather means lots of home grown fruit and vegetables!
We have enjoyed so much produce from the garden this summer it has been wonderful. It is great to have things like tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, capsicums, and zucchinis in abundance. We have had more than enough for ourselves and have even been able to give some away to friends and neighbours!
Well enough about the garden and on to the Links I Love from January 2015! As with previous months, I have pinned photos from the links that I have found onto my Pinterest boards, and I am sharing those pins here.
If you want to pin any of the links to one of your own boards on Pinterest just click the ‘Pin It’ button. Or you can go directly to the website via the direct link which I am also including.
I am going to break with tradition this month and start with non-food links!
This first link from Jennifer at I Heart Organizing really resonated with me because I am keen to try natural cleaning methods. I think having a Stain Removal Kit like this one would be really handy so that you have everything you need ready in one place.
Our cats are always looking for something new to play with so this next link naturally caught my eye. I just love these cute Junk Food Cat Toys that Laura showed us how to make over at A Beautiful Mess!
Speaking of cute, I had to include this post on how to make a Coffee Pot Terrarium that I saw at A Charming Project. I’ve seen terrariums before but none done in a coffee pot before!
I also like how Gilly from Colour Saturated Life used recycled wood to make a simple but effect piece of wall art. The post titled Art from Scraps shows just how easy it is to turn leftover items into striking pieces of art without too much effort at all!
This summer we have enjoyed having some yummy dips and I like to make my own from time to time. This Onion Dip from Linda at With A Blast sounded reasonably easy and is one I would definitely like to try.
Speaking of recipes to try this BBQ Brussels Sprout Pizza which I saw at A Beautiful Mess looked interesting. I have never had a Brussels sprouts pizza before but it looks really tasty!
I would love to make some of these Mini Meyer Lemon Tarts from Vicky at Things I Made Today. We have got quite a few lemons coming on our Meyer lemon tree so I will save this recipe for when they ripen!
My final link for this month is for some delicious looking Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Puff Pastry Cookies that I saw over at Bunny’s Warm Oven. These look so good I will definitely be having a go at making some in the near future!
Well I hope you enjoyed seeing my favourite links from January 2015, head over to my Pinterest Page if you want to see some of the other many great links that I saw last month!
