Links I Love from June

Last updated on: July 3, 2017 By Kaylene Filed Under: Links I Love Leave a Comment

If you’re into baking, crafting, or DIY you need to check out these awesome and inspirational links that I saw during June. thelinkssite.comOh my goodness it has been cold the last couple of days! We got down to -4 °C yesterday and -2 °C this morning brrrr! The overnight temperatures during June were much milder so these frosty mornings are a bit hard to get used to. I suppose we just have to expect more of this now that we are into the middle month of winter!

I love my gardening but it’s easy to spend most of your time inside when the weather is this cold. One activity that is enjoyable to do outside this weather is having a bonfire. Well by bonfire I mean burning some old logs and dry wood that is too big and knotty to fit on the inside fire. We’ve even got an old cast iron barbeque that we can put over the fire and cook some burgers on! It never seems as cold outside when you are tucking into a burger around the fire!

In this month’s links I love post I will be sharing some of the great links that I have found during June. As I always do I will be sharing the direct link along with a Pinterest pin. Feel free to check out the link directly or pin it for later!

The first link that I wanted to share is for this Epic Chunky Beef and Mushroom Pie from Nagi at Recipe Tin Eats. This pie looks like an awesome winter meal to me!

And what about these Lacy Ham & Cheddar Spirals from Bonnie over at Thirsty for Tea! I love how these basic ham and cheese spirals are transformed by the addition of decoratively cut soy wrap!

I’m a big mackerel fan so these Smoked Salmon and Mackerel Fishcakes from Proper Foodie caught my eye last month. Can’t wait to give this recipe a try!

Another link that caught my eye during June was this recipe for Small-Batch Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins over at Baking Mischief.  Sometimes a small batch is all you need and these look so good!

I couldn’t resist sharing this Lemon Orange Cake with Lemon Honey Glaze from Jo Cooks. Any sweet recipe with lemon in it gets my mouth watering!

The last food based link from June is this recipe for Grandma’s Perfect Caramels from I Am Baker. I’ve always wanted to have a go at making caramels so I’ll be keeping this recipe handy!

I also wanted to share this tutorial link for making DIY Miyuki Ombre Circles Earrings from Petit Bout de Chou. I have never tried bead weaving but these look so pretty I might have to give it a go!

These Brass Monstera Leaf DIY Earrings from Rachel at DIY in PDX also caught my attention last month. This would be a great way to make some very unique earrings!

I was also very taken with these beautiful Paper Orchids that I saw at Dreamy Posy. They look so real I didn’t realise they were made of paper at first!

I’d love to have a go at making some of these uniquely shaped Candle Moulds that I saw over at A Beautiful Mess. I’ve got a teenage niece who would love some nail polish shaped candles!

My final link from June is for these clever Interchangeable Clay Garden Markers that I saw over at Jojotastic. Such a great idea to make sturdy garden markers that can be changed over as the seasons change!

That’s all for this month’s Links I Love. I hope you have enjoyed checking out these great links from June. Hopefully you were able to get as much inspiration from these links as I did! To see some more great links head over to my Pinterest page, and why not follow me too!
