Links I Love from September

Last updated on: March 3, 2018 By Kaylene Filed Under: Links I Love Leave a Comment

Whether you are into baking, crafting, or gardening you’re sure to love these great links that I found during September! thelinkssite.comEven though this month’s Links I Love post is looking back at September I am definitely looking forward to summer. Warmer days spent in the garden are fast approaching and with that comes some delicious home grown fruit!

Our plum and apricot trees blossomed a few weeks ago but the apple trees are just bursting into flower now! I took the above photo a few days ago of our granny smith apple tree with the apricot tree in the background. I just love how the apple blossom is pink when in bud and then opens up as a beautiful white flower. From a distance it looks like it is covered in small pink flowers.

The apple blossom has inspired me to include some yummy apple recipes.  Actually it’s not hard to find some drool worthy apple recipes at the moment seeing its autumn in the northern hemisphere right now!

For each of the links I will include the direct link as well as a Pinterest Pin. So you can check it out straight away or save it for later – your choice! So let’s get down to business with those apple recipes!

The first apple recipe that got my attention last month was for these Apple Pie Muffins that I saw over at Annie’s Noms. What a great way to sneak some apple pie into breakfast!

These Apple Cheesecake Cookie Cups from Crazy for Crust also caught my eye during September. I’ve never tried making a cheesecake cookie so these are definitely on my to-do list!

Moving away from apples, I also wanted to share these Lemon Donuts with Raspberry Glaze that I saw at Ashlee Marie. I find sweet lemon recipes so hard to resist and these donuts are just so pretty!

What about this recipe for Raspberry & Nutella Scrolls from Lucy at Bake Play Smile. They look so delicious and only take 10 minute to whip up – I love a good scroll so you can count me in!

You can’t go past a good chocolate cake so I had to share this recipe for Swedish Chocolate Coffee Squares from Neriz at Food and Journeys. Again this sounds like such an easy recipe so it’s a winner in my books!

Speaking of chocolate, how good do these Bergers- Style Cookies from Brown Eyed Baker look!! These are a vanilla cookie topped with chocolate fudge like frosting – YUM!

The final recipe link that I want to share is for these Spring Rolls that I saw at Recipe Tin Eats. Store bough spring rolls can be disappointing so I am looking forward to having a go at making my own!

I love the look of these Painted Twig Wall Letters that I saw at Crafts By Amanda. How cool is it that you can turn an ordinary twig into some pretty neat wall art!

This Painted DIY White Dash Doormat from Amy at Delineate Your Dwelling also caught my eye. This is also a super easy project but it really livens up an ordinary old doormat.

With Halloween coming up it is great to get some cool decorating ideas. Like this really cool Tomato Cage Witch Hat that I saw at Smart School House!

Another decoration that I love is this Leather Hoop Fall Wreath that I saw at Tatertots and Jello. What a great idea to use an embroidery hoop for the base of a wreath!

The last link that I want to share is one I saw over at Gardenista which gives lots of great tips on growing Sweet Peas. This is the first year that I have ever grown sweet peas so I found this link very interesting!

Well that’s all the links I have to share from September. I hope you have been inspired to get baking, crafting or gardening! If you want to see some more great links head over to my Pinterest page!
