Wow this year is going so fast! I can’t believe that we’re already into October and I’m looking back at September. Before you know it we’ll be talking about Christmas! I’m still trying not to think about Christmas at the moment, but that will have to change later this month. That’s because I usually make my Christmas cake in late October or early November. For now anyway I’ll keep denying that Christmas is fast approaching!
The photo that I am sharing with this month’s links I love is of one of my mum’s Phalaenopsis orchid flowers. She has had this orchid for a few years now and finally it’s produced a flower. She’s so happy, now she just has to get her other Phalaenopsis orchids to flower too!
I thought that an orchid flower would go nicely with this post where I will be sharing some of the great links that I saw during September. As I always do with these posts, I will share both the direct link and a Pinterest pin. So you can check it out straight away if you like or pin it for later if you don’t have time now.
The first link that I want to share is for this Bacon and Vegetable Slice that I saw at Cook it Real Good. It sounds easy to make and delicious too!
Another recipe link that I want to share is this French Bread Pizza from Recipe Girl. I have actually had something similar to this before but I love the idea of making it with pizza toppings!
If you love brownies you need to check out these Brownie Cookies with Caramelized White Chocolate from Butternut Bakery. I love brownies so I’m looking forward to trying this recipe!
These Campfire Apple Crisp Foil Packets that I saw over at Gimme Some Grilling caught my eye last month. I enjoy cooking things over a campfire but I love that you can also cook these in an oven!
If you’re looking for an easy craft project to do with the kids then these Mason Jar Lanterns from Happy Hooligans could be a great idea. They’d be perfect to make and then put outside over the warmer months!
I love checking out DIY jewellery so these DIY Paper Earrings that I saw over at White House Crafts got my attention. These look so cute; I would have never thought to make earrings from cardstock!
The final link that I wanted to share from September is this DIY Wooden Sudoku Game from The Crafty Gentleman. I enjoy a bit of Sudoku so I’d love to have one of these sitting on my coffee table!
Well I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of the great links that I saw during September. Head over to my Pinterest page if you want to see even more cool links!

You’re welcome Cassie! Now that it’s summer I can’t wait to start harvesting lots of zucchini and capsicum from the garden so that I can try them in your slice! It sounds like the perfect summer recipe!
