When the school holidays come around it is every parents worse nightmare when, after only a couple of days, their children start to complain that they are bored!

Although today’s kids have lots of computers and games consoles to play with they should take a break from the electronic fun every now and again. The trouble starts however when the kids have to put down their controller or mouse and they then look to you as a parent to provide them with entertainment. And it’s not easy coming up with fun activities for kids to do.

So I have been searching the net for great ideas to keep the children in my family occupied when it comes time to give the computer, iPod, or games console a rest.

I have found a few great videos that show various activities that you can do with your kids. Most of the materials needed are things that you will have in your house anyway or if not they are mostly readily available at a supermarket.
